We headed back to the boat (in Hilton Head, SC - a little later than planned. Like many others, we were flying Southwest and our original flight was cancelled, so we rebooked for Dec. 31st. It’s November 1st (the end of Hurricane season) which means our insurance company says we can head south. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so we’re moving the boat to FL to store it for few weeks so we can go home to Colorado for the holidays. The 500+ NM sail from St. Simpson’s Bay to Cockburn Town (pronounced “Coburn”), on Grand Turk Island took about 54 hours.
